If a student reports difficulty obtaining a laptop or sufficient wi-fi for academic purposes, please have them e-mail helpdesk@ck-amarni.com, with the subject, “Technology Barrier”.  IT will work with them to try to provide them with a laptop or mobile hotspot.

  Feel free to distribute to students these instructions for the basics of working in Blackboard, Collaborate, and Digication. 
  • This Orientation for Online Students, developed specifically for the particulars of FA20, introduces the formats of hybrid, online, and hyflex learning.  It also provides strategies for success for students, as well as contact information for support.

Where do I find support for my specific needs?

Contact the 1590巴黎人改版后网址 Help Desk when:

• Technology is not working as expected, e.g. files not uploading, login not working, materials not displaying, etc.
• You wish to merge two sections of a course
• There are problems with the in-class technology, computers, interactive whiteboards, projectors, etc.
• You need help with Digication courses, creating them for a class, enrolling students, etc.
• There is an issue outside regular business hours

Contact the Instructional Technologist when you need support with designing your courses and meeting your teaching goals through 1590巴黎人改版后网址's instructional technology. Discover strategies in course design in either Blackboard or Digication, discuss assessment options, and explore how to engage students through multimedia, ePortfolio, discussions, blogs, journals, and more.

Contact the Office of the Registrar when you have administrative questions or issues about your Blackboard sites, such as:

• Students or faculty not appearing as expected
• Adding students, mentors, supplemental instructors, etc. to a site
• Changing roles for yourself or a student in a site

Contact the Director of Student Success Initiatives about retention and Starfish questions, such as:

• Accessing and viewing Starfish (if you have trouble logging in or do not see your expected students/courses)
• Tracking items: how to raise a flag, kudos, etc.
• Features of Starfish: setting up office hours, scheduling appointments, recording attendance, etc.
